Week 4 Preview
07 Jun 2017

Redemption vs. Melbourne

After a complete washout of games in week three a pair of old foes renew acquaintances at Centennial on Saturday. Redemption is anxious to start another win streak, while Melbourne is looking to season’s first win with their revamped lineup. Could be an interesting game.

Waterloo vs. Elmbank

After a bitter loss to the new boys on the block Park dale, Elmbank find themselves this week with stiff challenge of playing back to back game. On Saturday they travel to Waterloo, always a tough away game. Waterloo is currently enjoying a good run of form with wins in their last 2 games. This could be a high scoring game.

Parkdale vs. Apollo

With the first quarter of the season upon us, Parkdale and Apollo will be meeting for the second time. This match sees Parkdale looking for revenge after a disappointed loss to Apollo in week two. Apollo continues to play good steady cricket in the early part of this season and will be looking to prove that their week two victory was no fluke.

Redstar vs. Wanderers

With fire still streaming in their veins, Redstar will be pumped to unleash their vaulted pace attack on Wanderers to prove that the 22 all out against Calypso Sports was no one off. New skipper Joewayne will surely have the boys ready for this one. Wanderers are hoping to rebound from a solid defeat from the hands of Apollo. A defeat this week, could setback the blue and gold and shake the house.

Elmbank vs. Kings

Banks will be coming off a road trip to Waterloo and would be either extremely happy or extremely sad. Regardless of the mood they will be in, Elmbank will be boosted with the knowledge that they have had Kings Number. KINGS will be hoping to display the fighting spirit in their lone win so far against Waterloo, defending a low score at Centennial. Should be a good one.

Westies vs. Calypso

With nothing to show in their Colum so far Calypso will be looking for points against  We sties  on Sunday, This could prove difficult for Calypso as Westies  batsmen have batted well in their game so far. Calypso could be lacking in confidence after being bowled out for 22 by Redstar last Saturday. Surly someone will be registering their first win.
